Attend a Meeting

People and pets at a meetingOur monthly meeting is the first Saturday of the month at the Abingdon Library and is open to the public. The meeting is intended to bring together like-minded individuals who are interested in discussing new and innovative ways of saving lives.

Our general format is to begin with a general overview of the No Kill Movement and how it is different from the traditional sheltering model. Then we review No Kill Harford’s current programs and the progress we are making. Afterwards, the meeting turns into a group discussion among people who are passionate about animal welfare and committed to ending the killing of healthy, adoptable animals in America’s shelters.

Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to come out and join us. The meeting will help you to get a better overall understanding of what we believe and the efforts we are making to create a better future for Harford County’s companions animals.

Note: From time to time our meeting schedule is forced to change on very short notice, please check our Events Page to confirm time and location of the monthly meeting.

We hope to see you there!
