Believe it or not, you are already helping by taking the time to read through our website and educating yourself. Thank you for your interest, and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
If you’re willing to do more, you can help in the following ways:
First and foremost, WE NEED LEADERS
We are a brand new organization with a mountain of work ahead of us. If you are an animal lover that would like to help Harford Countys’ adoptable pets and feral cats, we’re excited to hear from you. We’re looking for responsible, motivated individuals who can commit to spending time each week and/or month helping make the No Kill Harford vision a reality.
Attend A Meeting
Our group meets each month to discuss issues, exchange ideas, and develop programs to assist county residents and rescues. Bring a friend along!
The meetings are held the last Thursday of each month at 6pm. For more information, please visit our meeting page.
Subscribe to Harford No Kill News
Our newsletter, Harford No Kill News is the easiest way for us to communicate everything that No Kill Harford is doing and to find help when we need it. Our newsletter includes meeting information, local pet events, resources for pet owners, and more. Subscribe Now!
Spread The Word
Tell your online friends about us. Have them visit our Website, subscribe to our newsletter, friend us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, etc. The more people that know about the life saving efforts taking place in our county, the greater our chance for success!
Be An Advocate
The most important thing you can do to help is to be an advocate for our county’s animals. If a friend is considering buying a dog from a puppy mill or breeder, encourage them to adopt. If your neighbor is having trouble paying for pet food in this horrible economy, let them know that No Kill Harford can help. Anything that you can do to help prevent an animal from entering a shelter is a potential life that you are saving!
