No Kill Harford, Inc. is an all volunteer, non-profit organization formed in later 2011. NKH is committed to making Harford County, MD one of the safest places for companion animals and feral cats in the country by establishing Harford County as a “No Kill” community. Read more.
What We Do
No Kill Harford was started in late 2011 with the goal of transforming Harford County into a No Kill community. “No Kill” communities across the county are saving 90% or more of the animals that enter their open admission shelters. We believe that Harford County can join these communities and help make our county one of the safest places for companion animals in the county. Read more.

Those who began “No Kill Harford” believe it is possible to save every “adoptable” animal in Harford County. This does not mean that no animal should be euthanized. We believe that animals who are suffering from illness or injury and cannot be treated should be humanely euthanized with gentleness and compassion. Read more.
